Our schedules rarely match up in a way that affords us the opportunity to have a traditional lunch/early picnic, so we've started going on breakfast picnics instead experiencing severe FOMO. Sometimes we take a serious meal, complete with boozed up coffee (I like cognac, but Pat prefers Grand Marnier) if there's a nip in the air. Today, we just stopped by a local bakery and picked up a few things; including the most heinous coffee that has ever passed our lips. Still, it was really nice to be outside together enjoying the spring weather and sharing a few pastries ;)
